Police Arrest Security Guard for Taking Advantage of Wife’s Niece
PARAÑAQUE CITY – A security guard in Parañaque City has been arrested for allegedly taking advantage of his wife’s niece.
Child abuse has been one of the major concerns not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. Physical and verbal abuse against children is considered a crime and is strictly punishable by the law.
Anyone who will commit child abuse will be subject to corresponding sanctions and penalties depending on their violations.
The police authorities arrested a security guard at their workplace in Parañaque City over six counts of rape. The suspect allegedly takes advantage of his wife’s underage niece. The guard is also No.4 on the list of Parañaque police.
Parañaque City Police Investigation Division chief Police Major Edwin Lacostales issued an arrest warrant against the suspect after receiving a tip and having an interview with the complainant.
“Nag-background check kami sa kaniya upon issuing ng warrant of arrest. Ininterview din natin ‘yung biktima niya and nakakuha tayo ng konting tip,” Lacostales said.
Unfortunately, the culprit denied the accusations against him and explained that he could not do such a thing to the minor victim. The latter explained that the girl’s parents got mad at him for hitting the victim after disrespecting his wife.
“Ang lumabas sa medico legal ay nagalaw siya mula November hanggang December, eh nung November lumipat kami ng bahay,” the suspect said.
