Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla "Have Different Priorities"

In terms of career, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla dropped hints that they will, for now, be separated as a love team.

Kapamilya superstars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are a real-life couple and as a love team onscreen, they are undeniably one of the most successful. They have done several blockbuster films and successful television series.

And the most recent project they are still doing is the series “2 Good 2 Be True” which will end in November. In this project, they’ve had a different take on their roles. They made everything about their characters intact with reality. They are no longer the teenyboppers they used to be and what they have now is maturity both in real life and in the characters they play.

However, it seems like we will not be seeing them together in a project anytime soon after 2G2BT. In a conference for the finale of their ongoing project, they hinted about going separate ways as a love team.

According to Kathryn, since they are getting older, she wanted to them do roles that they haven’t done yet. She doesn’t want them boxed but she assured their supporters that KathNiel will always be there.

She doesn’t want their capabilities and skills as actors to be limited within their love team.

“In the next five years, ano na ako nu’n, 31 years old na ako nu’n. That’s still young but then, we have different priorities. Five years from now, ten years from now… iba-iba. Of course, we want so many roles pa. Pero grabe ang bilis ng nangyayari…lahat. The love team KathNiel will always, always be there naman talaga,” says Kathryn.

In the next five years, she wants to see herself and Daniel exploring projects they are not used to doing.

Daniel agreed and echoed her thoughts about this. He expressed based on a Pika Pika report, “We’ve done so much films, shows also. Tama ’yong sinabi ni Kathryn na hindi kami dapat makahon masyado kasi nga marami pa kaming p’wedeng gawin.”

What he is just thankful for is the love and support their fans are giving them in every project they do.
