Bong Go Shares First-Ever Selfie of Citizen Rodrigo Duterte
Senator Christoper “Bong” Go shared the first selfie made by former president Rodrigo Roa Duterte with him.
Senator Go, a longtime ally of Duterte, posted some photos of him with the former president on Facebook. The pictures show them taking a selfie inside a car while Go is driving and Duterte is a passenger.
Go also pointed out that it was the former president’s first selfie. The senator was pleased to report that for the first time ever, he convinced Duterte to take a selfie with him all by himself.
“Salamat, PRRD! Isang karangalan na napa-selfie ka ng Selfie King…for the first time!” Go wrote in his caption to his post.
Rodrigo Duterte’s personal aide and executive assistant during his time as mayor of Davao City was Bong Go. He describes himself as Duterte’s all-around “utility man” because he is in control of both personal and governmental concerns.
Go was frequently referred to as the “national photobomber” by the media since he was constantly pictured alongside Duterte in pictures. He is an important figure in Duterte’s presidential campaign.
In his six years as president, Go has been one of Duterte’s closest pals. Go was chosen to the Senate in 2019. He frequently appears alongside Duterte at occasions.
Go declared his intention to run for president in November 2021 under Duterte’s PDP-Laban. He then announced his withdrawal from the run for president, claiming he did not want Duterte to be caught in the middle before the national elections of 2022.
