Lady Customer Caught on Camera Putting Plastic on Her Food to Avoid Payment
A lady customer has been caught on camera putting plastic on her food to avoid paying her bills at the restaurant.
The CCTV footage installed at a restaurant in United Kingdom caught a lady customer using a dirty modus to avoid paying her bill worth P11, 300. The video immediately spread like a wildfire online.
In the video, it can be seen that the woman together with her partner and children are eating at a restaurant. The customer orders four appetizers, seven side dishes, four drinks and six main courses.
According to the owner named Naseem Khan, the customers just finished their first course when the woman complained regarding their food. The lady filed a complaint again after consuming the main course.
“The waiter said, ‘We don’t have this plastic in our kitchen, but I have the authority to give you 20 percent off and not charge you for the dish. The husband of the woman then stood up and said,’I’m not going to pay,” Khan said.
The family leaves the establishment without paying for their bills.
Khan reviewed the CCTV and discovered that the customer took a pack of cigarettes from her bra. She puts the plastic packaging on their food.
“As a Muslim, it is my responsibility to help others and give [to] charity… If she was struggling with money, she could have come to me and I would have given her food for free. But she didn’t do that,” Khan added.
