This is how Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Padilla fixed their friendship.
TONI GONZAGA – Real-life best friends Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Padilla talked about their fallout in 2010 and shared the story.
Every relationship will always be tested and these tests would be the reason why the love, fondness, and bond will become deeper and tight. And this is what Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Padilla also believed.
Looking back, Mariel and Toni shared that their friendship started when they were just 20 years old. They are now in their late 30s and they are amused by how their friendship stood and continued.
But for 18 years, their friendship was not the perfect one. They’ve had a couple of fallouts and just recently, in Toni’s ALLTV talk show program, they talked about the fallout.
Their first fallout was in 2007. They did not reveal the reason but it was eventually fixed. One of the major persons that helped them reconcile was Alex Gonzaga. According to Toni, it was her sister who would always remind her of efforts of Mariel in their friendship.
The second one was in 2010 and this was the time when their conflict got publicized. The conflict was worse and it took them a long time to fix it.
Mariel shared that despite their conflict, she went to her bridal shower. She was not invited by Toni but Alex did. She went and that was how their friendship started to roll out smoothly again. Days after, she received an invitation to their wedding and that was it.
She really did well in being the present friend in Toni’s life. She was always there in every event – may it be small or big. Toni expressed that they were there with each other in every progress and growth.
And their most favorite part was when they got pregnant at the same time.
