Who is the friend of Vhong Navarro who ignored him when he asked for help?
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed that Kapamilya actor-host Vhong Navarro was ignored by a friend when he asked for help.
Vhong is currently going through a controversial legal battle against model Deniece Cornejo. Because of this, he is now detained at the National Bureau Investigation (NBI). With his current situation, he is not doing his showbiz engagements.
In a previous interview, the Kapamilya star that he will continue doing his showbiz engagements after he is released from detention. However, his optimism was blocked by the recent decision that the Court of Appeals released.
CA junked the plea of Vhong Navarro to dismiss the cases filed against him. Amid the difficult time that he is going through right now, the actor-singer continues to receive love and support from his friends in the entertainment industry like his It’s Showtime family and his fellow Streetboys members.
However, based on what Ogie Diaz said in his recent Showbiz Update vlog, there was a time when the actor-host failed to get help from someone he considers his friend.
“Ang alam ko meron pa siyang hiningan ng tulong. Nagbakasakali siya na matulungan siya,” Ogie said. The talent manager also shared that the said friend of Vhong answered but he was referred to someone else.
When Vhong followed up, Ogie said that the friend did not reply. “Seen lang,” the talent manager said. When Mama Loi asked if this is a blind item, Ogie laughed.
“Hay naku, siyempre doon mo mate-test ‘yung mga tunay mong kaibigan sa panahong kailangang-kilangan mo sila,” the talent manager said, adding that actor Janus del Prado was right when he said that there are taping friends only and there are also real friends who are ready to help even after doing a project together.
Ogie Diaz agreed with this as he also experienced this kind of situation, He was able to know who his real friends are when he was undergoing a difficult time.
