Janno Gibbs Says ‘Bawal ako sa ABS-CBN’

Janno Gibbs recalled this past issue

Singer-actor Janno Gibbs said that he is not allowed to be in ABS-CBN‘s project and apparently this is because of a past issue.

To recall, years ago, Janno had a sort of social media rant against the Kapamilya network. Apparently, he complained during the time when he was not receiving projects from his home network. He was a contract artist of Star Music, the music company of ABS-CBN.

He complained that he was excluded from the Christmas Station ID in 2018. However, reports surfaced that it was the attitude of the singer-actor that affected his career or the offers that did not come along his way.

In a recent interview on talent manager- vlogger Ogie Diaz‘s YouTube channel, Janno Gibbs shared that ABS-CBN and GMA have a “tampo” to him. He said that he understands that the management of the Kapamilya network felt that way and he knows that it is because of what he posted in the past.

He also blamed the showbiz news sites for misinterpreting what he posted. “Bawal ako du’n (ABS-CBN),” Janno said that this is what he feels. It is because there were times when he would receive offers from the Kapamilya network but once this will reach the bosses, the said offers will not prosper.

Then, Janno apologized to the Kapamilya network, “Sorry for my post. Siguro nasaktan talaga sila sa post ko. Kasi it put them in a bad light, ‘di ba?” The singer-actor also said that this is the same with GMA.

“Ang 7 din. Hindi ko alam. Hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi nila ako kinukuha. I’ve been with them for the longest time,” he said. Janno shared that he would even call people from GMA to ask if there can be a project for him and he would just receive answers like “Sige” and “Hanap po kami”.

Previously, Janno Gibbs was also terminated from the Net25 noontime show because of his issue with comedienne Kitkat.
