MMDA Enforcers Apprehended Lady Passenger Her For Not Wearing Helmet, Woman Says “Kasi ang alam ko po kailangan ka maghelmet pag nasa highway ka”
A lady passenger argued with MMDA enforcers who apprehended her and her colleague for not wearing helmet.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority is an agency of the Republic of the Philippines implementing the planning, monitoring and coordinative functions along the road concerning purely local matters. The agency aims to ensure the safety of both motorists and pedestrians.
The agency covers the cities of Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, Pasay, Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, Valenzuela, Malabon, Taguig, Navotas and San Juan and the municipality of Pateros.
Recently, the Facebook page “Sir El Motovlog” shared the video footage of a lady passenger having an exchange of heated argument with MMDA enforcers who apprehended her for not wearing a helmet.
The video immediately goes viral online after it was posted on social media. The incident also garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the furious woman is having an argument with MMDA enforcers. The traffic officers apprehended her and her partner for not wearing a crash helmet while driving a motorcycle.
The woman explained “Kasi ang alam ko po kailangan ka maghelmet pag nasa highway ka.” The MMDA personnel clearly explained her violation and cited the traffic rules and regulations.
Eventually, the lady passenger apologized for being rude because she lost her temper after one enforcer allegedly disrespected her.
