The Honor X40 was officially announced on September 15, 2022. The 5G-ready smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5100 mAh battery + fast charging 40W. It is offered in three colors – Silver, Green, and Black.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the device is 161.6 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 172 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.67 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, and 20:9 aspect ratio.
Platform:
The smartphone runs on the Android 12 + Magic UI 6.1 operating system. It is powered by the Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 619. It comes in variants such as 128GB + 6GB RAM, 128GB + 8GB RAM, 256GB + 8GB RAM, and 256GB + 12GB RAM.
Main Camera:
Honor X40 sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 50-megapixel (wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) sensor. It features an LED flash, panorama, and HDR.
Selfie Camera:
The phone has a tiny punch-hole screen that houses an 8-megapixel (wide) camera.
Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Infrared port, USB Type-C 2.0, and USB On-The-Go. Its sensors include fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
