Drag Queen Filipino American Manila Luzon express excitement on how he look forward the future of Drag in the Philippines.

Manila Luzon, a TV star and International drag queen , has made a formal debut in the Philippines as the brand ambassador of the local aesthetics company Avignon Clinic.

On Monday, September 19, Based on the report of PUSH, Manila Luzon held a private meeting with the media during which she discussed a range of topics, including skin care, career updates, and the country’s drag scene.

In connection with that, the report also mentioned that PUSH questioned Manila about her opinions on the vibrant drag scene in the Philippines. After appearing on the international reality programs RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, Manila gained notoriety.

 “The drag scene has been booming here in the Philippines for many years, decades. It’s just now being experienced by the mainstream. And I am so, so excited for the Filipino people to find this new way of being entertained. Filipinos are amazing entertainers, singers, dancers, and now drag queens.” Manila answered.

The International Drag queen also shared that people will see the uniqueness and beauty from LGBTQ community, and also open the eyes of the people to see them as normal human being and take them as a person when they take all the make-up, costumes and wigs.

Avignon Clinic’s President and Co-founder Benedict Sy was asked by the reporters why Manila Luzon is there chosen as their first international brand ambassador, he said that: “We have partnered with Manila Luzon to bring awareness, not only about the drag culture but also to represent deeper underlying advocacies, which she stands for. Believing in the importance of diversity and inclusion.”
