VHONG NAVARRO – The TV host and actor not only facing the case filed by Deniece Cornejo but there are more women, here is the list.

Following the arrest of the It’s Showtime host, previous cases filed against him resurface. Vhong faces several cases filed by women whom he allegedly molested.

MARGARITA ‘MAI’ FAJARDO – 2014

In 2014, Margarita ‘Mai’ Fajardo sued Navarro as a body double where the actor allegedly harassed her in 2009. According to Fajardo’s account, the incident happened inside Navarro’s SUV where she was told: ” Ang ganda ganda mong tibo. Dapat makatikim ka ng tunay na lalaki para di ka na maghanap ng babae.”

According to reports, Navarro even displayed his private part to Fajardo. On the other side, the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office dismissed the complaint Fajardo made against the actor, claiming that there was no “probable cause.”

The court found that Fajardo lacked proof that Navarro had coerced her. According to some stories, Fajardo passed away in 2018 as a result of a toilet slip and fall.

ROXANNE CABAÑERO – 2014

When Roxanne Cabañero was a contestant in the Miss Bikini Philippines Pageant in 2010, the beauty queen accused Navarro of harassment. Due to her reportedly disorganized statement regarding the subject in 2014, former Sen. De Lima oversaw the DOJ case.

Another of Navarro’s backers at the time observed that Cabañero had forgotten the precise day of the claimed assault. It had been so long ago, Cabañero remarked, that she had forgotten the exact date.

Even one of the interviews with Cabañero was made fun of on the then-ABS-CBN program “Banana Split.” Cabañero’s lawsuit against Navarro, which she filed while still competing for the Miss World Philippines title, had a significant negative impact on her career.

KAT ALANO – 2015

Kat Alano expressed her dissatisfaction with the former justice secretary in an open letter she wrote to Leila de Lima in 2015. Because, in Alano’s words, she was victimized by a “strong” and well-known” personality.

Then De Lima retorted that she would simply make a report against the accused harasser. After providing a further “hint” about who committed the harassment in 2020, Alano trended online.

She simply covered the name with the hashtag #RhymesWithWrong. Many online users assumed that Vhong Navarro was the person to whom Alano was referring. Although Alano did not expressly mention that, the VJ cannot avoid making a comment when something significant occurs, as it did in Navarro’s case in September.

DENIECE CORNEJO – 2014

The “condo issue,” in which Deniece Cornejo and Navarro were implicated, gained attention in social media and print media in 2014. In the same year, Cornejo filed a complaint against Navarro, but it was later dropped by the Department of Justice (DOJ), which is now headed by former senator Leila de Lima.

The public was shocked when the CA ordered the DOJ to reopen the case Cornejo had brought against Navarro in August 2022. The CA argues that just because Cornejo’s assertions are unreliable, the DOJ lacks grounds to dismiss the complaint.
