It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro has this plan after his incarceration due to the warrant of arrest for the rape case filed by model Deniece Cornejo.

Several times have happened that showbiz personalities got involved in controversies and legal issues. Back in 2014, this scenario happened in Vhong’s life. Deniece accused him of rape and in return, the actor-host filed illegal detention and grave coercion cases against the model and businessman Cedric Lee.

Following the resurrection of the issue between Vhong and Deniece after the Department of Justice (DOJ) issued a decision in favor of the Kapamilya star, different opinions circulated online.

Some believed that Vhong Navarro should pay for his mistakes while some believed that he is innocent. The camp of the actor-host also insisted that he is the victim and the cases filed by Deniece are all about money.

Amid the legal battle he is going through, Vhong is thankful for the support that he receives from his wife, his fans, and colleagues. He is planning to continue his showbiz career after he gets out of the detention center. Vhong Navarro will continue to do his hosting stint in the Kapamilya noontime show. “Alam daw niyang binigyan siya ng talent ng Diyos para makapagpasaya sa mga tao at ‘yun ang kanyang gagawin,” Pang-Masa entertainment columnist Nitz Miralles said.

Meanwhile, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, Deniece’s lawyer, said that Vhong shouldn’t be detained at the National Bureau of Investigation because the hearing will happen in Taguig and so he should be in Taguig City Jail.
