Police Arrested a Veteran Actor Dindo Arroyo in Laguna for Cybercrime

Police authorities arrested the veteran actor Dindo Arroyo in his house in Biñan City, Laguna over alleged cybercrime charge.

The police detained a television and movie star for violating the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. Conrado Manuel Ambrosio II, also known as Dindo Arroyo, 61, was arrested in his house, said Laguna Police Provincial Director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio.

The arrest was made by officers from the Biñan City Police Station based on the arrest warrant issued by Sta. Rosa City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 101 Judge Rosauro Angelito Sicat David on September 15, 2022. The police did not elaborate on the details of the case violated by Arroyo.

The arrested actor is already in the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Biñan City. According to the article, Silvio explained that the court has already suggested a bond amount of 10,000 for the man’s provisional release in the case.

“Sa pagkaaresto ng akusado ipinapakita lamang na walang pinipili ang ating batas,” said Police Colonel Silvio.

However, it remained unclear what Arroyo done to cause the case and, ultimately, the arrest. The accused appeared in the action-drama series “Ang Probinsyano” on “FPJ.”

Dindo Arroyo, a character actor, takes pride in having collaborated with the nation’s greatest action actors. Among them was the late “The King,” Fernando Poe Jr., who served as both his godfather and his bride, the late Sherryl Lyn Tiongco Head.

Dindo had a Stage 4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis in 2014. He was healed and no longer had cancer after taking herbal remedies for six months, he claimed.
