Many are excited for the much-awaited Disney live-action movie Little Mermaid directed by Rob Marshall. The movie will be released in 2023, but after Walt Disney Studios posted an official teaser trailer last September 10,
The Disney movie has already made noise. Halle Bailey will star in the beloved animation film as Ariel.
The movie is about Ariel, a disobedient 16-year-old mermaid who fell in love with Prince Eric on one of her banned trips to the surface, which are forbidden by her controlling father, King Triton.
She loved him so much that she traded her lovely voice for a set of legs in order to be with him. But when the star-crossed couple’s intentions go astray, the king is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice for his daughter. A fairy tale by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen served as the inspiration for this movie.

Recently, multi-awarded comedian and content creator Michael V. had a throwback when he once became Ariel. His Instagram post sent good vibes to netizens.
In the caption of the post, he wrote: “LITTLE MERMAID Live Action Haters will say it’s photoshopped.”
The 52-year-old celebrity has been entertaining Pinoy audiences with his well-crafted parodies and skits. He has also launched a successful music career as a singer, rapper, and composer.
