ABS-CBN BALL 2022 – ABS-CBN is postponing the ABS-CBN Ball this year and these are the alleged reasons behind this.
In a previous article, the much-awaited comeback of the ABS-CBN Ball will just have to wait a bit longer because it got postponed. The media company made an announcement on Wednesday, September 14.
ABS-CBN postponed the event scheduled for October 2 with the Modern Filipiniana theme. This event is supposed to be held to thank the Kapamilya stars, industry partners, and friends that stayed in the difficult times.
The network is looking forward to seeing them “at a more opportune time”. It was postponed due to the “given current circumstances”. But despite the postponement, the network remained grateful for the unwavering support it received.
This announcement has saddened a lot of people.
Amid the loud buzz, an online page made claims about the alleged and possible reasons why the much-anticipated event has to be postponed.
Among the alleged reasons include the preparations of ASAP Las Vegas, shootings of Metro Manila Film Festival films (such as Partners In Crime, An Inconvenient Love, and Labyu with an Accident), BINI album launch, US tour of Ang Probinsyano, and One MX live in London.
Based on speculations, the hectic schedule of the Kapamilya stars and numerous out-of-the-country shows ahead are the reasons behind the postponement.
The last ABS-CBN Ball was held in 2019. This was months before the unfortunate events happened like the onset of the pandemic and the network being denied to have a new franchise.
