Actor Diego Loyzaga talked about unfollowing actress Franki Russell on Instagram amid the rumored romance between them.
The rumors linking Diego and Franki started when their sweet photos together surfaced online. Initially, the actor said that there was nothing romantic going on between him and the actress.
However, with their matching tattoos, netizens couldn’t help but conclude that they are together as a couple. Eventually, Diego confirmed that he and Franki are dating. On the other hand, in the latter part of June, netizens noticed that they already unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Last month, it was announced that they will work together on the movie Pabuya. When asked during a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, regarding the unfollowing issue, Diego Loyzaga said that it was just a prank.
He explained that it was part of his “method acting” for their movie. “Sa script ng ‘Pabuya,’ our characters, six years kaming hindi nagkita. So ginawa kong method acting not to talk to Franki first until we saw each other on the set,” he said.
The actor that it was effective. It is because of their lines saying “I miss you” to each other. “Pasok naman sa roles namin ang ginawa ko,” he added. Diego also shared that he and Franki remained friends and it was just they avoided each other for a while.
When they met again, the actor said that there was no awkwardness. “She ran off to me with open arms. We were fine working together on the set,” Deigo revealed. Franki agreed with this.
She thinks that the “method acting” that they did really worked and when they met again, they really missed each other. Diego Loyzaga also clarified that there was no time that he and Franki Russell are not okay.
