MORISETTE AMON – Why did celebrity couple Morissette Amon and Dave Lamar get married secretly, the singer revealed to the media for the first time.
Morisette Amon married her fellow singer Dave Lamar last year and it was just this year that they officially shared the good news with their fans.
The celebrity couple has a rustic and chic theme for their special day. It was held at The Old Grove Farmstead in Lipa, Batangas. It was filled with rustic-colored roses and every detail just fits right as to how Morisette and Dave wanted their wedding to be.
In an interview with Magandang Buhay, Morisette Amon revealed why she and her hubby chose to keep their wedding a secret. She said they decided not to disclose it in public right away because they want to have it in their circle first.
“Hindi muna namin in-announce agad kasi we just want it to have it within us and our circle. So we will able to enjoy it naman for the past months at then nung January lang namin in-announce. Kaya feeling ng mga tao sobrang bilis, pero ‘yun,” said Morisette.

Morissette Amon also shared that they are planning to have a grand honeymoon soon. She said they postpone it because they were not able to travel outside the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Nag-honeymoon naman ng small, intimate lang muna. Originally bago po kami na-engage ang gusto talaga namin na honeymoon is out of the country. Siyempre pandemic din so nag-road trip na lang muna. Maganda pa rin naman sa Tagaytay naman. Super nice, naka-relax,” she said.
Dave and Morissette celebrated their first wedding anniversary last June 28.
