PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Thursday (September 8, 2022)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that fair weather conditions will prevail over parts of the country.
On Thursday (September 8, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) released the latest weather condition. Tropical Storm Inday and southwest monsoon will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA reported that Tropical Storm Inday has been last spotted at 1,250 km East of Central Luzon. It has maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph.

“Base po sa ating latest satellite animation, wala pong direct effect itong si Bagyong Inday dito sa malaking bahagi ng bansa, and in fact, malaking bahagi ng Luzon and Visayas ay makakaranas ng maaraw na panahon, na sasamahan lamang ng localized thunderstorms na walang kinalaman kay Inday,” Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estreja said.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone will be affecting Palawan and Mindanao. It will also bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms over Western Visayas.
Partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather conditions over the rest of Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.
The weather agency has also warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon and Visayas as well as Mindanao will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
