FRANCESCA TARUC PROFILE – Here are some of the things to know about beauty queen Francesaca Taruc who recently went viral.
Maria Francesca Guina Taruc is model and beauty pageant titleholder. Under her belt as a beauty are titles such as Miss Freedom of the World Philippines 2018 and Miss Tourism World Intercontinental 2019.
The other titles she won were:
- Mutya ning Angeles Youth Ambassadress 2017
- Miss Holy Angel University 1st Runner Up 2016
- Miss College of Arts, Sciences, and Education 2015
- Miss Teen Earth Philippines 2015 Top 6
- Lakambini ning Balibago Tourism 2013
She is the granddaughter of Hukbalahap leader, Luis Taruc, and she was made to conquer beauty pageants. Just like the rest of the aspirants, the first steps to becoming the beauty queen she dream to be were filled with struggles. But despite the low points, she kept going.
She kept competing, until she triumphed.
However, just recently, she became a trending topic online because of a comment she made about athlete Dwight Ramos. To many people, her comment seemingly imposed something and they could not help but speculate something malicious about. And what everything made worse, Ramos is openly in a relationship with fellow athlete Kianna Dy.
She talked about this co-incidence from being both 24 years old and also bannering the same number 24. Because of this, fans were quick to take offense at Taruc’s remarks. As of writing, “Dwight” is trending on Twitter.
In an interview way back in 2019, she expressed that becoming a beauty queen has always been her dream because she wanted to be seen and heard by the people “not out of vanity”. She wanted to become an inspiration.
