Here’s what James Reid said about Liza Soberano landing a role in Hollywood.
LIZA SOBERANO – Careless Manila owner James Reid reacts to the Hollywood role Liza Soberano got in “Lisa Frankenstein”.
In a previous article, famous Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano shared how she got the Taffy in “Lisa Frankenstein”. She stars in this movie alongside Hollywood stars Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton and it’s a step closer to her Hollywood dream.
When she left the Kapamilya network, she signed a contract under the music label of James Reid. She wanted to explore music and apart from that, she also wanted to be in Holywood.
In getting the role, she revealed that she met with Director Zelda Williams and was told by her to audition for a role, and so she did. She was in South Korea when she sent her self-tape audition and two days after that, she received the good news – she got the role.
And as Liza’s new manager, James has nothing but happiness for the actress. He just did not expect that it would happen so fast but as he has always said, he believes in her and he believes that she is prepared for this.
“I didn’t expect [it would be this soon]. Before she came to Careless, we asked her what she wanted and she said, ‘I want to be in Hollywood.’ I didn’t realize it will only take a month or two to actually land a role. It’s amazing though,” he said.
He feels like this is only just the beginning for her and that she’s going to receive more roles in the future.
Meanwhile, regarding Liza’s music career, she said that she’s going to start exploring and working in this field early next year.
