Veteran actress Vilma Santos looks forward to becoming a “lola”.
VILMA SANTOS – Star for all Season Vilma Santos shares she’s feeling happy and overwhelmed over her forthcoming first apo.
Screen veteran dubbed as Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos is going to officially become a “lola” soon and what she would want her apo to call her is “Momsie”. She revealed that she first learned about Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola’s pregnancy on Mother’s Day.
Accordingly, they did not hastily tell her about the pregnancy. They slowly informed her about it and when she first learned about it, the feelings of happiness and being overwhelmed rushed into her. She felt very happy and excited that the wait was over because having an apo has always been a long-time dream of hers.
“Ayun talagang maiyak-iyak ako. Totoo ba, totoo ba? Oh my God! ‘Di ako makapaniwala na sa tagal-tagal kong hinintay talaga ng apo, ngayon meron na. Looking forward to meeting Peanut (baby’s nickname),” Vilma excitedly shared.
And when asked what she would be like as a grandmother, she shared that she couldn’t think of anything for now except for being protective because she wouldn’t know as early as now.
She probably wouldn’t allow anything that will hurt her apo to happen but she stressed that she really won’t until he or she is there.
Santos said based on a report from ABS-CBN, “Kung nai-spoil mo ang anak mo, mas mai-spoil mo raw ang apo. Kung in-enjoy mo ang anak mo, mas mae-enjoy mo raw ang apo. I wouldn’t know.”
Specifically, she wanted to be called “Momsie Vi”.
