Video of Modern Jeepney Drivers Getting Into Fight Over Passengers Goes Viral
CEBU CITY – Several modern jeepney drivers get into a fist fight in N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City over passengers.
The Facebook page NIAS News Weather – Philippines has shared the video footage of some jeepney drivers who get into a fight over passengers. The video goes viral online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen drivers wearing red and blue uniforms were attacking each other during a fight. Some of them even carry steel pipes. The feud allegedly starts over picking up passengers.
The employees of the Cebu City Transportation Office intervene to stop the intense commotion. However, the fist fight did not end in on N. Bacalso Avenue as the drivers continued their brawl in Barangay Bulacao.
The video has been originally posted by a netizen named Boyet Heyrosa. The incident happened last Wednesday (August 17, 2022).

“DALAWANG JEEPNEY DRIVER SA CEBU NAGSUNTUKAN DAHIL SA AGAWAN SA PASAHERO. Nagsuntukan ang 2 driver matapos pag agawan umano ang mga pasahero ng isang konduktor sa N. Bacalso Avenue sa Cebu City, sapul sa camera ng isang netizen ang eksena kung saan nag-aagawan umano ang mga driver at konduktor sa mga sasakay na pasahero, nagsisigawan pa daw ang dalawa habang pinapatakbo ang kanilang mga minamanehong modern jeep, bago ipinarada ang mga ito upang magsuntuka, naawat naman sila traffic enforcer ng Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO)”
