Janine Berdin shared her future plans for her career
Singer Janine Berdin admitted that she also wants to do acting stints on TV and become a theater actress as well.
Janine rose to fame when she won in Tawag ng Tanghalan, the singing competition in the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime in 2018. From that, she was given opportunities by ABS-CBN to appear on several shows and she started establishing her name in the music scene.
However, aside from singing, Janine also wants to explore her abilities in acting. Based on the recent article by King of Talk Boy Abunda in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Janine Berdin also wants to be an actress. “Kasi I really started po dito sa Star Circle Quest, someone who acted. But hindi siya ‘yung number one passion ko po,” the singer said.
She also said that her passion for film is also equal to her passion for music. “Siguro mas nakikita ko po sarili ko behind the camera. Pero gusto ko rin po mag-act, especially in theater,” Janine added. The singer said that she already tried this and she loved the experience. With this, she said that she wants to act as well if she will be given a chance in the future.
Meanwhile, Janine is one of the performers in Beyond The Stars: The Star Magic US Concert Tour that will be held in New York on Aug. 6, San Francisco on Aug. 12, and Los Angeles on Aug. 14. This upcoming stint brings excitement to her.
She said that she feels blessed to be part of this project and she did not expect that she will be one of the performers. “And I can’t wait to introduce ‘yung tunog ng new talents,” the young singer enthused. She also said that she and her fellow Gen Z performers like SAB, Angela Ken, AC Bonifacio, and Kyle Echarri are excited to showcase their talents.
