Jane de Leon ventured into vlogging
Kapamilya actress Jane de Leon launched her YouTube channel on August 2 with a video welcoming her fans to take a closer look at her life.
Vlogging has been a common stint among many showbiz personalities over the years. In previous years, YouTubers and content creators have garnered the attention of mainstream media because of their popularity online.
However, now, more and more celebrities are becoming vloggers. The newest addition to the long list of celebrity vloggers is Jane. She shared her first video on her YT channel and it showed her life as an actress but “escape” led her to a new environment.
Towards the end of the 2-minute video, Jane de Leon showed her vibrant self and the happy expression on her face. The actress also did narration in the video as she appeared to be inviting her fans to join her in her journey. “I’m excited to share with you this journey. So, let’s feel the wind, ride the waves, and see where they take us. Your Jane,” she said.
Meanwhile, Jane is set to have her first leading role in a series. She is the lucky actress who was chosen to play the iconic superhero role of Darna which was previously offered to Liza Soberano. Her fans have been anticipating for so long for this series to happen because delays happened amid the pandemic.
In a previous interview, the Kapamilya actress shared that she really worked hard for this project, especially for the fight scenes. She revealed that she had some injuries because of the stunts that she did. Last May, the teaser of the series was released and this has received support from Angel Locsin, who was the first choice to play the lead role in this project.
