2 Women Who Supposed to Deliver Jewelry in Pasay City Victimized by Holdup Suspects
Holdup suspects have been caught on camera while attacking two women who were supposed to deliver jewelry in Manila.
Two thieves steal pieces of jewelry worth nearly P2 million from two lady victims. However, the authorities discovered that the suspects used the “holdup me” modus after conniving with one of the victims.
The CCTV footage installed at Brgy. 227, Zone 21 captured the robbery incident in the area. The female victims have been identified as Frances Salazar (Red shirt) and Roselinda Samarita (Pink shirt).
In the video, it can be seen that Salazar and Samarita were walking along the road when two suspects took their bags. Samarita tried to fight the suspects but she failed to prevent the crime.
However, Salazar just let one of the thieves take her bag containing jewelry without complaint. Brgy. 227, Zone 21 Bgy ex-o Wilfredo Santos noticed that the crime was welled plan.
“Pagkakita natin sa CCTV, parang may something kasi paglabas nila (mga suspek), sila (mga biktima) agad ang tinumbok. Parang may nag-ano na ‘Ito lalabas na ito,” MPD Tayuman PCP Commander Police Major Johnny Boy Itcay.
According to the police investigation, the victims were supposed to deliver the jewelry in Pasay City when the incident happened. Salazar’s bag contains the jewelry while Samarita’s bag only contains her personal belongings.
Eventually, Salazar admitted that she connived with the suspects to pay her P3 million debt. The lady suspect also regrets the crime she had committed. The other suspect has been identified as Dondon Rabandaban.
“Sobra lang po akong gipit, may utang po, P3 milyon po. Humihingi po ako ng pasensiya, kung mapapatawad niya man po ako, sa nagawa ko. Nagsisisi po ako sa nagawa ko,” Salazar said.
The authorities recovered P978, 000 worth of jewelry and promised to do their best to recover the other items worth P800,000.
Frances and her partner Tonyme Salazar will face robbery charges while the police authorities still search for Rabandan.
