The Honor X40i was officially announced on July 13, 2022, and released on July 22, 2022. The smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery + fast charging 44W. It is available in four colors: Black, Silver, Green, and Aurora.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the X40i is 162.9 x 74.5 x 7.4 mm and weighs 175 grams. It features a 6.7 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2388 pixels resolution.
Platform:
X40i is powered by Mediatek MT6833 Dimensity 700 (7 nm) processor coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on the Android 12 + Magic UI 6.1 operating system. However, the device doesn’t come with the Play Store or other Google apps like Calendar, Maps, or Gmail.
The smartphone comes in variants such as 128GB + 8GB RAM, 256GB + 8GB RAM, and 256GB + 12GB RAM.
Main Camera:
Honor X40i sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 50-megapixel (wide) + 2-megapixel (depth) sensor. It features LED flash, HDR, and panorama.
Selfie Camera:
The smartphone has a tiny punch-hole screen that houses an 8-megapixel (wide) camera.
Sensors on the phone include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, compass, and virtual proximity sensing. It also features USB Type-C 2.0, USB OTG, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and BDS.
