The former band singer Caren Tevanny Mangaran sought help from NBI after seeing her ex-maid in news.
A lady household helper reportedly stole hundreds of thousands worth of cash and valuables from her former employers. The suspect even used the vaccination card of her victim to apply for work.
The ex-lead singer of the band General Luna named Caren Tevanny Mangaran watched the news and saw her former maid who stole her valuables. She immediately sought help from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Mangaran met the female suspect online and hired her as a house helper. At first, she admired the perseverance of her newly-hired maid. The helper showed her hard work to earn the victim’s sympathy.
“Pagdating ditto naglinis agad siya wala pa akong sinasabi talagang kumuha na siya ng walis nilinis niya na lahat magaling siyang katulong,” Mangaran said.
The lady suspect told Caren to buy condiments after they ran out of supply. The culprit stole cash, a laptop, a game console, a watch, and expensive bags worth P300, 000 right after Mangaran left.
Other victims also informed the ex-singer that the suspect is using her vaccination card as an ID.
“Affected siya when it comes to reputation, syempre pag pinahuli sya tapos name ko baka ako yung maano sa NBI nyan. Gusto ko siyang mahuli kasi nakaka-usap ko yung mga victims,” Tevanny said.
The singer also expressed her desire to arrest the suspect to prevent her from victimizing other people.
