Is it true that Alex Gonzaga is resigning from Tropang LOL?
ALEX GONZAGA – Tropang LOL host Alex Gonzaga speaks about resigning from the TV5 noontime show. Are the rumors true?
Previously, Cristy Fermin in her program revealed that Kapatid host Alex Gonzaga is leaving the noontime show she’s currently in, Lunch Out Loud. Fermin said in her showbiz vlog ‘Showbiz Now Na’, “Nag-resign na si Alex Gonzaga sa Lunch Out Loud.”
According to the veteran showbiz columnist, among the reasons included personal matters such as baby plans. Fermin claimed that she was advised by her doctor to take work slowly. Another reason is the airing of Its Showtime back-to-back with their show on the Kapatid channel.
Is it true that she is resigning?
In the recent episode according to PEP, Alex denied that she is leaving. Accordingly, she was asked by her co-hosts teasing her about the rumors of her resigning and the “pagpipirata” rumors but she did not directly respond to any of them.
She just quipped, “Next question na tayo!”
Bayani Agbayani, one of the hosts of the noontime show, also denied this. Based on a report, he said, “Hahaha! Hindi. Dito pa din siya sa TROPANG LOL.”
Meanwhile, apart from being an actress and host, Alex is also a vlogger and one of the most followed in the country. After the shutdown of ABS-CBN due to their failure to secure a new franchise, she returned to TV5 and was assigned to host LOL, the noontime show that premiered in October 2020.
The previous shows she has hosted include The Voice Teens, PBB Otso, Star Hunt: The Grand Audition Show, I Can See Your Voice, I Can Do That, Game Ng Bayan, Dance Kids, The Voice Kids, PBB All In, and many more.
