Senior Citizen Shot Dead While Driving Tricycle in Calasiao, Pangasinan
A senior citizen has been shot dead while driving his tricycle together with his partner in Calasiao, Pangasinan.
A 67-year-old grandpa identified as Raymundo Tullao has passed away after suffering gunshot wounds. The victim who is an entrepreneur is driving his tricycle while heading to Calasiao when the incident happened.
According to the police investigation, Tullao and his live-in partner came from Bayambang and headed to Calasiao when a motorcycle rider followed them. After a few moments, the suspect shoots the elderly man in Barangay Macabito.
“While on their way yung backride na live-in niya na babae napansin niya na paglampas nila ng tulay sa Malasiqui may nakasunod na motorcycle,” Calasiao Police Station Chief PLT COL. Junmar Gonzales said.
The victim’s live-in partner said that the suspect is wearing a black jacket and helmet. The gunman immediately escaped after the incident.
“May narinig siya na isang putok akala niya, nung live-in is pumutok yung gulong nila kasi unti-unting nagso-shoulder lane na yung motor,” Gonzales added.
The senior citizen who is also an entrepreneur suffered gunshot wounds on his head and back, which leads to his untimely death. Luckily, Tullao’s live-in partner did not suffer any injuries due to the incident.
The police authorities will continue to investigate the crime to identify and locate the suspect. However, the victim’s family refused to give a statement.
