Groups of Teenagers in España Boulevard Caught on Camera Amid Intense Riot
The actual footage of an intense riot between groups of teenagers on España Boulevard goes viral and elicits criticisms online.
On Thursday early morning (July 14, 2022), a group of teenagers caused an inconvenience along España Boulevard during an intense riot. The poor kids have no face masks and shirts while carrying empty bottles and rods.
Luckily, no one got injured during the incident but it causes discomfort and inconvenience to the motorists passing along the road. The vehicle drivers and motorcycle riders temporarily stopped a few meters from the scene to avoid the commotion.
According to a barangay watchman in the area identified as Brgy Tanod Leonardo Culanao, the riot between the groups of kids in the area has been happening for nearly a week.
“Madalas mangyari yan tuwing gabi mga alas singko mga ganyan, nag-aaway nagbabatuhan ho sila gabi-gabi, pinagbabawal pero kapag may pulis hindi sila nagkakatagpo, sa mga bata ho e dapat mga magulang dapat mag-ano diyan hindi ako dahil inaawat ko hindi ako pinapakinggan e,” Culanao said.
Manila Police Station District 4 chief PLtCol. Cristito Acohon explained that they have checkpoints in the area. However, the incident happened around 11 blocks away from the checkpoint.
The involved teenagers immediately escaped after the police authorities arrived in the area. Luckily, the cops were able to apprehend 14 teenagers who violated the curfew policy in the town.
The authorities advised the parents to strictly monitor their children to avoid such incidents.
