Celebrity mom Marjorie Barretto said that she hopes her former partner Dennis Padilla would protect their daughter at all times.

The issue between Dennis and his children was once again recalled due to his post last Father’s Day. He said that his children with Marjorie forgot to greet him. It is known to many that there had been conflicts between the seasoned actor and his children. Because of what he posted, his children Julia, Claudia, and Leon Barretto received negative comments.

Following that, Dennis and Marjorie’s son Leon shared an open letter for his dad. He said that their father should not express personal matters on social media. Leon also said that he and his siblings are also trying to reconnect with Dennis but their dad would always do something that would make them stay away from him.

This issue was one of the topics that comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz discussed in his recent Showbiz Update vlog. He said that he asked Marjorie Barretto to react to what Dennis Padilla has said on his social media account, based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal.

Ogie shared that Marjorie said that she will speak about this when the right time comes. “In time o darating din yung oras, o yung panahon na magsasalita rin siya [Marjorie] para mas maintindihan ng mga tao ang totoong sitwasyon,” the comedia-talent manager said.

Then, the actress expressed her hope. “At umaasa rin si Marjorie na poproteksiunan pa rin ni Dennis ang kanilang mga anak sa lahat ng pagkakataon,” Ogie shared.

Following Leon Barretto’s open letter, Dennis Padilla responded through another post. He said that he just misses his children. The seasoned actor also shared a handwritten letter for his children.
