Sheryl Cruz Misses Exchanging Love Letters w/ Susan Roces

SHERYL CRUZ – The actress took to social media a photo of the sweet love letter from her late aunt, Susan Roces.

The sudden death of veteran actress Susan Roces left countless hearts broken and the showbiz industry grieving over the loss of the Queen of Filipino Movies. At the age of 80, she passed away due to cardiopulmonary arrest or cardiac arrest last May 20, 2022.

A day prior to her death, the veteran actress was brought to Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan, Metro Manila due to chest pain and breathing difficulties. A few weeks before her death, her daughter Senator Grace Poe noticed that she no longer talks long on the phone.

Also, there were instances when Susan do not want to eat. Despite her age, she does not want to leave the show businesses.

The family, friends, and former co-stars of Susan Roces visited her wake at the Heritage Park in Taguig. She was buried at the Manila North Cemetery beside the tomb of her late husband, the King of Action and the King of Filipino Movies, Fernando “FPJ” Poe Jr.

One of the celebrities who visibly miss Susan Roces dearly is her actress niece, Sheryl Cruz. The veteran actress whom she calls “Mama Inday” is the sister of her mother, former actress Rosemarie Sonora. Recently, she shared on social media photos of the “love letters” she and her late aunt have exchanged.

In the note, Susan thanked Sheryl for the “huge platter of appetizers” that the actress has sent her. She greeted her Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. In her response, Sheryl stressed that Susan is welcome and that she wanted her to enjoy saying she did not forget her favorite dishes and finger foods.
