Anne Curtis In Showtime Only On Saturdays, Here’s Why

This is the reason why Anne Curtis will only be on Showtime only on Saturdays.

ANNE CURTIS – Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis officially returns to Showtime but will only be present on weekend episodes.

In a previous article, ABS-CBN superstar Anne Curtis was feeling nervous during her performance in Its Showtime. She had a take two but she is feeling ecstatic. She’s happy that she’s finally returned and she’s happy to finally be reunited with her co-hosts who are also her close friends in real life.

To recall, before her comeback, the last time we’ve seen her was two years ago, right before her maternity leave. She is supposed to return when her daughter turned one year but the circumstances did not permit her initial comeback.

And now that she’s come back, she will, for now, work only on Saturdays. During the Monday episode, May 30, the hosts talked about how grand the event last Saturday was. But just as Anne said last Saturday, she’ll take things baby steps and that’s why she’ll only be present on Saturdays.

“Big event din ang nangyari last Saturday dahil sa pagbabalik sa ‘It’s Showtime’ ng nag-iisang si Anne Curtis. Hindi ba pasabag? Pero sa ngayon hindi ba sabi nga ni Anne ay baby steps muna. Kaya ang gagawin niya ay every Saturday muna natin siyang makakasama,” says Vhong Navarro.

Navarro added that Anne did not intentionally ask for a take 2 during her prod because she really did forget the lyrics of the song. She sang Ariana Grande’s “Break Free”.

To recall, it has been almost three years since Anne went on hiatus. She’s also now gearing up for her comeback concert “Luv-Anne” on June 11 at Resorts World Manila where she will be performing personally.
