As a newly transferred artist, this is how Lovi Poe got well-adjusted working in new environment.
LOVI POE – New Kapamilya artist Lovi Poe opens up about working with new people and working in new environment.
Kapamilya stars like Coco Martin, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, and others were among the first stars to welcome Lovi Poe in ABS-CBN. To recall, she’s been a Kapuso for 15 years but last September 2021, she decided to transfer despite the lack of franchise of the ABS-CBN company.
Her first project is “Flower Of Evil” with Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual, the Philippine adaptation of SOuth Korea’s hit series of the same title. In a previous article, she shared that her move is more for herself. She wanted to step out of her comfort zone. She’s done working with the best of Kapuso network and transferring to the Kapamilya network will give her the chance to work with the best artists of her new network.
And being a new artist, the first moments working with new people and new environment was tough for her. But working with these people also gave her the comfort and warmth. She felt their effort to make her feel at home and that is how she eased up herself being the new in the company.
“Naramdaman siguro nila na medyo nahihiya ako. Nararamdaman ko talaga yung effort nila to make me feel better. As time went by, I’m suddenly myself. One morning, I’m myself around everybody. I’m surrounded by people who want to see me do well, and I’m just so grateful for that,” she said.
The first three days was the hardest for her but everyone in the set made her feel no stranger. They were warm towards her. In a report from PEP, she thanked these people for not giving up on her because they really exerted effort to make her feel at home.
Meanwhile, “Flower Of Evil” will premiere across 16 countries via Viu, specifically across Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa.
