Bea Alonzo Left A Touching Message For The Late Susan Roces
BEA ALONZO – Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo mourned the passing of ‘Queen of Philippine Movies‘ Susan Roces who died at the age of 80 on May 20.
On Friday, May 20, Senator Grace Poe announced that her mother Susan Roces has passed away. She was 80 years old. The politician said she and their loved ones surrounded Susan before the veteran actress died.
Susan is the wife of the late Philippine King of Movies Fernando Poe Jr. She was known early in her career for various films where the pair starred.
Susan Roces was last seen in Kapamilya’s longest-running action drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (FPJAP) where she plays Lola Flora who is the grandmother of Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin).
The veteran actress is one of the most admired personalities in the entertainment business. Due to her success and impeccable acting prowess, many celebs and fans look up to her. Through different social media platforms, celebrities expressed how sad they are over her death.

Actress-vlogger Bea Alonzo was one of the celebs who expressed their grief over Susan’s passing. In a post on her Instagram account last May 21, the Kapuso actress shared a throwback photo with the late actress.
In the caption, she penned a touching statement about what she learned from the ‘Queen of Philippine Movies.’ She expressed her admiration for Susan and even shared a lesson that he learned from her. She ended her IG post with a short but sweet message for the late actress.
“The entire industry is grieving and you will be missed, Tita Susan. You have taught me so much in a short time that we worked together. Naaalala ko pa nung sinabi mong kapag masama ang loob ko, isulat ko lang sa papel lahat ng galit ko, at sa isa pang papel, isulat ko naman ang mga bagay na ipinagpapasalamat ko, at bago pa man akong matapos magsulat, mawawala na ang galit ko. Hanggang ngayon ginagawa ko pa rin po ito.”
“Thank you so much for your wisdom, humility, and generosity. You are loved, our queen. Rest in peace.”
Sen. Grace Poe announced on Saturday that the wake of her mom would be open to the public starting Sunday. It will be held at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.
