Cops Arrest 2 Male Suspects After Breaking Into Barracks & Stealing Construction Worker’s Bag
Two male suspects have been arrested after stealing the bag of a construction workers in Barangay Mariana, Quezon City.
Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.
The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.
The Galas Police Station reported that the suspects entered the barracks of a construction site in Barangay Mariana, Quezon City while the workers are performing their duty. The thieves destroyed the lock and entered the barracks.
However, one of the victims saw the suspects carrying the bag of his fellow employee. The witness shouted and asked for help from his fellow workers. The laborers chased the suspect until they have reached the next barangay.
The workers sought the help of barangay officials and eventually cornered the thieves.
“First and foremost kailangan may bilinan tayo ng mga gamit natin, kailangan bago iwanan talagang may maiiwan na isang magbabantay and at the same time yung mga important valuables natin kailangan safe talaga yung pagtago at saka most probably mag-provide ng security guard doon sa area,” QCPD PS11 Investigator PSSG Dhonnie Peralta said.
The cops recovered the stolen items including a bag, cellphone, and cash but the documents for work went missing. Based on the investigation, both suspects have been already jailed for the same offense.
