Presumptive President Bongbong Marcos Thanks 31 Million Voters
BONGBONG MARCOS – The former senator and presumptive president assured the Filipinos that his administration will not fail the 31 million Filipinos who voted for BBM-Sara.
Last May 9, millions of Filipinos were out to vote in the local and national elections. It was declared a special non-working holiday in the Philippines so the employed voters can have the time to vote. Ten candidates vied for the presidency.
One of the 10 presidential candidates is former Senator Bongbong Marcos. He ran under Partido Federal ng Pilipinas and his bid was supported by several national political parties and local government officials. He tapped presidential daughter and incumbent Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio as his running-mate.
Mayor Sara was the vice-presidential candidate of Lakas-CMD. The BBM-Sara tandem is called by a lot of Filipinos prior to the two (2) candidates merging under UniTeam.
The voting in the local and national elections is over. Shortly after most of the voting precincts closed last May 9, partial and unofficial results were made available. Marcos Jr. and Duterte-Carpio were frontrunners of the presidential and vice-presidential elections with a huge lead.
The camp of Marcos Jr. has already declared victory after 98% of the votes has already been canvassed. He has a 16-million lead. Several national leaders have already expressed their congratulations to the former Senator.
Recently, former Senator and presumptive president Bongbong Marcos expressed his gratitude to the 31 million Filipinos who voted for him and Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio who he called “vice president-elect” in his latest vlog. He also expressed his gratitude to the local government officials that endorsed them, his staff and as well as Mayor Inday Sara’s staff, and the actors, hosts, and singers who performed during the BBM-Sara grand rally.
