KAREN DAVILA – Respected Kapamilya broadcaster Karen Davila expressed how proud she is of her son who voted for the first time.
This year’s election has just ended but the counting is still ongoing. And based on the partial and unofficial results, former senator Bongbong Marcos is taking the top spot for the presidency with landslide votes.
And among the first-time voters of this year’s polls is the son of Karen Davila, David. On Instagram, Karen shared some snaps of them along with her 20-year-old son who just cast his vote. According to the broadcaster, it was his son who really wanted to vote. She was surprised that it such mattered to him.
On election day, after four hours of lining up with his father, he was finally able to vote. They helped him with his list and explained to him what each candidate stood for. She expressed, “As a mom of a special child, it makes me SO GRATEFUL and HAPPY that David is aware, concerned and very present in the moment! Kids in the Autism Spectrum can live better lives if parents intervene early! As a parent, this is the best gift we can give them!”
