Frankie Pangilinan joins rally versus BBM: ‘Not about the election anymore’

Frankie Pangilinan strongly opposed another Marcos in Malacanang

Celebrity Frankie Pangilinan joined a rally on May 10 to express that she is against the presidency of another Marcos as former Senator Bongbong Marcos is leading the partial and unofficial count of Comelec.

Frankie is the eldest daughter of Senator Kiko Pangilinan with Megastar Sharon Cuneta. In the latter part of the campaign, Frankie has joined several rallies. Her social media account is also active in sharing her thoughts regarding the elections this year.

Sen. Kiko is behind his opponent Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in the vice-presidential race with over 22 million votes. BBM is leading with almost 17 million votes against Vice President Leni Robredo, the presidential candidate of Frankie Pangilinan.

With this, supporters of the VP Leni or Kakampinks would not easily give up without fighting for what they believe. Frankie has been very expressive about her disappointment over the election result.

In a video posted on the Twitter account of @altermidya that Frankie retweeted, she was stressing her point why she joined the rally to oppose the return of Marcos in Malacanang. The celebrity said that some people think that they don’t know how to accept defeat but for her, it is more than just losing.

“I think that the truth is it’s not about the election anymore, e. I think that the data shows clearly that this election was bought a long, long time ago. And that’s something that we will not take sitting down, ‘no?” Frankie Pangilinan said.

She also said that she can’t accept having a president again whose name if Ferdinand Marcos. “I am not going to have my president be named Ferdinand Marcos again, ever. I think it’s that simple,” Frankie said adding that her two younger siblings joined her because despite their age they already what is right and wrong.

I think it’s very, very simple what we have to do. If we’re not going to stand up, if we’re not going to fight, e, di ano pang ginagawa natin dito sa Pinas? Mahal natin ang Pilipinas, e.I think at the core of it, that’s really just it,” Frankie stressed.
