Is this the reaction of Frankie Pangilinan to Vice Ganda’s political choice?
Celebrity Frankie Pangilinan, just like many Kakampink netizens, tweeted #IsamaSiKiko after comedian-host Vice Ganda did not endorse Senator Kiko Pangilinan during the Kakampink rally in Pasay last April 23.
During the said political event that became a birthday celebration for Vice President Leni Robredo as well, Vice gave his 5-minute speech for his presidential candidate. Previously, it was stated in a report that the crowd was shouting “Isama si Kiko” as they wanted the It’s Showtime host to endorse the VP Leni’s running mate.
However, the speech of Vice Ganda ended without him mentioning Senator Kiko Pangilinan as his choice also for the vice-presidential race. With this, speculations surfaced that he is endorsing the candidacy of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, the running mate of UniTeam’s presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos.
Amid the social media commotion between the Kakampinks who are also anticipating that Vice would endorse Sen. Pangilinan, the daughter of the lawmaker tweeted “Isama Si Kiko”.
In the comment section of Frankie Pangilinan’s tweet, a netizens asked if there is a conflict between Vice and her mother Megastar Sharon Cuneta. “B magkaaway ba si meme and si ate shawie,” Twitter user @chadwontgiveup commented.
However, another Kakampink netizen shared a photo showing that Vice and Sen. Pangilinan hugged each other during the said event, apparently, to show that there is no issue between the comedian-host and the vice-presidential candidate.
There were also netizens who shared the same sentiments with Frankie Pangilinan. One said that just like the daughter of the Megastar, she was also waiting for Vice to raise the hand of the Senator.
“True mami!! Lagi ako nagwwait sa moment na iraise din si Kiko kasama si Leni especially pag nageendorse mga tao. And I hope sa mga natitirang araw eh lalo pang maitaas si Kiko kasi yung kailangan natin ay President ay Vice President na parehas ang nakikita para sa bayan,” Twitter user @rfgvr said.
