Frankie Pangilinan, Kiko Pangilinan daughter, joins the rally and refuses to have Marcos being the president.
KIKO PANGILINAN DAUGHTER – Frankie Pangilinan joined the protest against the landslide victory of Bongbong Marcos in this year’s election.
Based on data COMELEC, Bongbong Marcos is winning and having a landslide victory to become the PH’s 17th president. For sure, over 30 million of his voters are celebrating his win but it seems like others can’t just easily accept this, specifically, the supporters of his greatest rival Leni Robredo.
Robredo is the outgoing vice president of the country who ran for president but failed based on the results. She comes next to Marcos in the poll results with a huge difference. But despite the hopelessness as seen in the numbers, Robredo’s supporters are unfazed.
Protesters from various parts of the country came out and called out COMELEC to investigate the suspected manipulation. And among the people who joined the protest is Frankie Pangilinan, the daughter of Kiko Pangilinan.
Kiko Pangilinan is the runningmate of Robredo. Frankie stressed that this election, which she believed was bought already a “long, long time ago”, is not just about accepting defeat but asking for justice for the injustices in terms of the data presented.
“That is something we will not take sitting down. I’m not going to have my president be named Ferdinand Marcos again – ever!” she said.
She also believes that what they are doing is for the Philippines, because if it’s not for the country, there’ll be no sense in it. Kakie was spotted at a rally in front of the Comelec’s office at the Palacio del Gobernador on Tuesday morning and she is clearly disapproving of someone from the historical Marcos clan being ever in the position again.
Marcos surpassed the 30 million votes on Tuesday morning.
