ELECTION 2022 – Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte lead in the partial and unofficial results taken from Comelec data as of 8:47 in the evening.

In the latest updates, the Marcos and Duterte tandem leads the presidential and vice-presidential races based on the partial and unofficial tally of votes. The data are from Commissions on Elections from the 57.76% of the nationwide election returns or the 32,807,635 of 67,442,616 of Registered Voters.

Marcos leads with 17,541,799 votes followed by Leni Robredo with 8,311,501 votes. In the third spot is Manny Pacquiao at 1,486,592 then Isko Moreno of Aksyon earning 1,188,776, and in the fifth spot is Ping Lacson having 567,761.

In the vice-presidential, Duterte of Lakas CMD leads with 17,155,745 followed by Kiko Pangilinan of LP having 5,696,594 votes. On the third, fourth, and fifth spots are Tito Sotto, Willie Ong, and Lito Atienza, respectively.

Marcos and Duterte, prior to the election day, have been dominating the surveys but they were not complacent about it. They are confident about the high turnout of voters but still, it did not give them assurance. They are optimistic about the results to be favorable to BBM’s candidacy.

Atty. Vic Rodriguez, the spokesperson of Marcos, “To be accurate about it, we are on guarded optimism. We’re not complacent. The election is still ongoing. Hopefully, during the canvassing, the results will be favorable to our candidate presidential frontrunner.”
