ELMER LABOG PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of Elmer Labog and his plans if he wins the 2022 Election.

Elmer Calagui Labog, popularly known as Ka Bong, is a trade union activist, veteran labor organizer, and first-time candidate. He has been included in the senatorial slate of Senator Manny Pacquiao, Ka Leody de Guzman, and the opposition 1Sambayan coalition.

Personal Background:

Elmer Calagui Labog was born on August 3, 1955 in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. He is married to Marinetter Villafuerte Labog. He had a degree in BS Biology from the University of the Philippines-Diliman.

Accomplishments:

Labog started as a student activist. He is a member of Student Catholic Action (1972–1973) and Samahang Demokratikong Kabataan (1972). He became an officer of the National Union of Workers in Hotel, Restaurant, and Allied Industries (1977) and the Genuine Labor Organization in Hotel, Restaurant, and Allied Industries (1978). (1986).

He joined Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) as a full-time organizer in 1982. He served in various leadership positions before becoming the national chairperson of the organization in 2003.
