PAGASA Says ITCZ to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that rains are expected over Mindanao while fair weather is expected over rest of the country.
On Friday (April 29, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration releases the latest weather update in the country. The Intertropical Convergence Zone will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone will be affecting Mindanao. It will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region.
Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar.
The Easterlies/localized thunderstorms will also bring similar weather condition over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The weather agency has also warned the residents in the affected areas for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

However, most parts of the country will experience fair weather conditions with chances of isolated rain showers in the afternoon and evening. No weather disturbances are expected to enter the country’s vicinity within the next three days.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire archipelago will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
