Tricycle Driver Using Fake License Worth P500 Caught by MMDA Enforcers

FAKE LICENSE – MMDA enforcers caught a tricycle driver using a fake driver’s license he bought for only P500.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority is an agency of the Republic of the Philippines implementing the planning, monitoring and coordinative functions along the road concerning purely local matters.

The agency covers the cities of Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, Pasay, Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, Valenzuela, Malabon, Taguig, Navotas and San Juan and the municipality of Pateros.

The Facebook page “Gadget Addict” has shared the video footage of MMDA conducting clearing operations along the sidewalks of Makati City. The video garnered various reactions online.

The MMDA enforcers conducted a clearing operation across Makati City. The traffic personnel removed all the road obstructions including vehicles and other objects hindering the flow of traffic.

The road officers also caught a tricycle driver who presented a fake driver’s license. The authorities confiscated his fake license and impounded the tricycle after committing multiple violations.

The trike driver said that he bought the license for only P500 although some people were purchasing fake licenses for P3, 000 up to P9, 000. A lot of people still seek help from online driver’s license assistance or fixers despite LTO’s warnings.
