DOLE Announces Job Opportunities for Filipino Jobseekers Will Open on Labor Day

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announced that over 100, 000 job opportunities will open on Labor Day (May 1, 2022).

On Friday (April 29, 2022), the Labor Department said that jobseekers could participate on thousands of job opportunities that will open on Labor Day. Job fairs will be held in various parts of the country.

DOLE will launched Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan Job and Business Fairs in celebration of the 120th Labor Day in the Philippines. Over 900 employers nationwide are expected to participate in the event.

Job Opportunities

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III that the job fair will give 102,426 local and overseas employment opportunities for Filipino jobseekers. The upcoming job fair is the fruit of government’s effort and employment recovery.

“This job fair is one of the employment recovery strategies to restart economic activities, restore consumer and business confidence, upgrade and retool the workforce, and facilitate labor market access,” Bello said.

Job Opportunities

Here is the list of available positions for manufacturing, business process outsourcing, and retail/sales industries:

  • Production operators
  • Machine operators
  • Customer service representatives
  • Collection specialists
  • Retail or sales agents
  • Promodisers
  • Sewers

About 73 recruitment agencies are offering about 28,755 overseas jobs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom, Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore.
