4 Suspects for Selling Stolen Motorcycle Online Arrested by Police Authorities
The police authorities have arrested the suspects for selling a stolen motorcycle during a hot-pursuit operation.
The cops arrested two car nappers and two other citizens who bought a stolen motorcycle online. A delivery app rider lost his motorcycle to unidentified suspects while performing his job.
Luckily, the rider found his stolen motorcycle being sold online and immediately reported it to the QCPD Station 2. The authorities immediately launched a hot pursuit operation wherein four suspects have been arrested.
Colenel Rix Villareal said.
Villareal explained that the suspects were just copying the owner’s signature after they have photocopied the papers. The police authorities advised the public to check the documents of second-hand vehicles and verify it with the Land Transportation Office and Highway Patrol Group.
The suspects will face charges of anti-carnapping law and anti-fencing law. Currently, the suspects were under the custody of Masambong Police Station for detention.
