Motornaper Arrested When Stolen Motorcycle Involved in an Accident

MOTORNAPER- Man who recently steals a motorcycle nabbed when he got involved in an accident using the stolen motorcycle.

The suspect was arrested after being involved in an accident in Brgy. San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal. He was the alleged notorious motornaper in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan (SJDM).

The suspect was identified as Benjamin Alvarez, 21, a construction worker and a resident of Brgy. San Jose, Based on the report of Remate. San Jose Del Monte acting chief of police, Lt / Col. Gil Domingo said, Ethel Lozada, 33, caretaker, reported to the station that he lost his MIO 125 motorcycle while parked in a subdivision, around 12:05 am.

According to P / SSG Wenefredo Dalagan, Jr., they immediately reported it to the Highway Patrol Group and gathered CCTVs in the area. Investigations revealed that the caretaker’s motorcycle was involved in an accident in Brgy. San Jose, Rodriguez.

The team immediately conducted a follow-up operation. The stolen motorcycle was recovered at the scene and the suspect was immediately arrested.

The suspect, along with his accomplice, Rowie Perez, 26, a sound system crew in Graceville, SJDM, was also arrested Wednesday. The suspects are currently in the police station at SJDM and they have been charged with carnapping.
