Zanjoe Marudo and JC Santos worked together in this movie written and directed by Bela Padilla
Kapamilya actor JC Santos commended his 366 co-actor Zanjoe Marudo for his performance in the movie that featured Bela Padilla as the lead actress.
Bela also wrote and directed this movie. Previously, she shared that she wanted Liza Soberano to be the lead actress in this movie but the latter’s schedule did not allow this to happen.
Bela and JC have worked together on several movie projects already. In this VivaMax movie, JC shared how it was working with Zanjoe and commended the acting abilities of his fellow Kapamilya actor, based on the article in PEP.
“It’s a little too much for me!” JC Santos said adding that Zanjoe Marudo’s acting was intensely magnified. “Nahabag ako nang sobra, kasi parang magnified na magnified yung feeling. Na nakikita mo yung close-up, nakikita mo yung reaksiyon ng mata,” he said.
For JC, this is one of the best performances of Zanjoe among what he has seen so far. He also said that he felt and understood every action of the character of Zanjoe.
When it comes to Bela, JC said that he is overwhelmed by what she has achieved from the time they did the movie 100 Tula Para Kay Stella and now that she is having her directorial debut.
“And it’s such a great performance. I don’t know what else to say, dina-digest ko pa. Congratulations! Great job!” JC Santos said about the actress. Meanwhile, JC said that he felt pressured by Bela’s multitasking in this movie. He said that the actress had to do the blockings and later on, she has to cry in a scene.
“Tapos, kailangan niyang baliin yung mga lines niya. Ang dami, ang daming mahihirap na ginawa niya for this film,” JC said about Bela.
