JC Santos revealed his first impression of his new movie project
Actor JC Santos admitted that at first, he underestimated the material of his new movie More Than Blue with actress Yassi Pressman.
JC is known for his movie projects with unique themes and many movie fans have been moved by his acting ability to portray different roles. For his new movie with Yassi, the actor shared that after the first time he read the script, he was not thrilled.
Based on the article in Bandera, he first came across with the script in 2020. “Nu’ng una ko siyang binasa medyo relax lang siya sa akin, na okey lang siya, nakakaiyak habang binabasa ko yung script,” he said. The actor then said that when he read it again before they started shooting, he was able to understand it deeper.
“Na-underestimate ko siya. Hindi ako masyadong impress dati. Ha-hahaha!” the actor honestly admitted. When he was reading scene by scene, JC Santos said that he really realized that he underestimated the material.
Upon checking the scenes, he said that the story gets heavier. “Come two days before the shoot umabot ako sa nag-panic ako dahil hindi ko alam kung kaya ko ba. Nag-text pa ako kay Direk at sinabi ko na nai-intimidate ako sa character ko at saka sa materyal,” he revealed.
The actor said that he brought the fear he felt while they were shooting already. JC shared that this is the movie that he is most nervous of.
Meanwhile, the actor said that he is thankful to work again with Yassi Pressman. JC Santos and his new movie leading lady worked together in the Kapamilya long-running action-drama series Ang Probinsyano. He said that his “kaba” was alleviated by the fact that he is at ease working with Yassi.
